creative conspiracy theories wanted:

i'd like to write a book. it's based on a dream i had a few weeks ago. homegrown terrorism here in the US. it will take place at a future Olympic setting.

fortunately, i can't think of a reason why anyone would actually commit a terrorist act. that's where you come in. i think of you each as creative thinkers... some very well versed in politics... some into history... others into conspiracies... some into philology... etc.

please provide reasons why someone might want to destroy a major multi-national event here in the US. these will be US citizens (born and raised, obviously sick, but with a long history of US citizenship, race not yet determined, likely male but not necessarily).

if this works, we'll build the "reason" together... kinda like the telegraph game, each adding to the plot as it develops

i don't need the who, how, or when.... just the why.

i look forward to hearing/reading what you have to say.
